First lure the vicious caranid, after that you need to pogo its attack twice and then either damage tank (getting extra airstall with dash) or pogo several times. It's actually pretty easy to do once you get used to it. I did it with 3 extra needle hits and 1 extra hp to spare. Make sure you have full silk. (Technically, 5 is fine, since there is 4 more silk in the next room)

Then the tas part - you need to do a double thornjump. I assume it's easier to do at 60 fps, but there is nothing more to say here, just maneuver around the thorns.

And finish it all with a bind stepjump into upslash.

It should be faster than current strategy (getting float), even with my poor execution (since I am lazy) it's sub 2 minutes.

The tas part can be replaced with a cocoon skip, but it makes the strat slower. I guess you can also do a bdr into silkeater but this is rando-only.

I haven't seen anyone other than sclicheD do this airstream skip. It replaces the tall airstream and slow float left with a sprintjump and shorter airstream. Probably saves 2-3s.

I was only doing 2 wavedashes here for a while and decided to lab it, I think this is pretty close to as fast as it gets
Re-dashing out of the room I believe is faster than trying anything else

for the pogo after the big jump at 0:05 make sure to not do it too late or youll overshoot the dash to the small platform and end up in the lava. ideally you dont corner correct on the big platform. not sure if the last corner correct is optimal
