You can slash to the left before bouncing on the shroom to make bouncing to the right consistent (instead of it being a 50/50 depending purely on rng). The spacing is very forgiving, so you dont really need to greed it at all

Faster by like 0.05 than the commonly used strat and its pretty much impossible to lose time with it (have a pretty big window to do both dashes)

Easiest way to do it is to line up with the wall and stop moving until you clear the little platform. Then you just hold forward until you see the blue muchrooms, when you dash, and then buffer the dash once you reach the ground
