You can do a map drop in this room pretty consistently and it should save a bit of time if you do it first try. You wanna hold out your map and move towards the edge as far as possible (first image), then go left for as little as possible (second image), then you stop holding the map and press the left and map inputs more or less at the same time and you should get the map drop. Idk if its consistent enough to be worth it but I managed for it to be the same time as downdash for me after about 10 minutes of trying it and I'm not very good so maybe it'll be worth going for.
