Setup for the dream nail timing that incorporates healing twice, as you both don't want fury and don't want to die if you get hit in the next room. Press focus at the same time Gorb's scream starts to drop in pitch, then dreamnail immediately after. Open to other setups, this is just the best I could come up with that allowed me to get into position as well.

Optimal movement for before gorb, Saves around 0.3.
Also found out it's optimal to end the Gorb fight on a single if possible, which saves around 0.1-0.2.
2An adaptation of apress' gorb early control for when you need to go to stagnest. Saves 5 seconds over the normal 112 strat when done well, and like 2-3 when you don't get an instant control. I intentionally included a couple failed attempts and a possible backup for when you agro the vengefly too soon. Also beware - if you don't get a cdash soon enough before getting the control, the game scams you out of it and you need to just dash into stagnest. Still faster though

2setup for early control on Gorb essence pickup. Just stand on the left of the platform to activate the vengefly. I'm using the lamp in the background to line up my dreamnail.
You need to wait until the essence tracker changes before save and quitting. Saves about .8 if you're just gonna save and quit since you can open the menu earlier. Saves more like 2.5-3 seconds if you still need to do anything in cliffs.
