(i know skate has a low fps rafters strat but it didn't work for me)
just putting this here in the event it can help someone else. the key is leaning into the final damage tank while still getting knocked left (alternate version of 74v13r's low fps rafter's strat: https://discord.com/channels/772964112908156938/822611544231772170/1298249682996166677)

For ppl who actually have low fps (~70fps), here's the most comfy set up i could come up with for rafters. Keep in mind that you only need 2 fbs for this version. You can also include a dash before the first dmg tank if it feels easier to do it as high as possible.

As for the skip itself, make sure to do the 2 fbs at or slightly after reaching the pick of the 1st pogo. The final dash should also be performed as high as possible so as to reach the platform.

never worry about side slashing the vfly again

Backup strat for getting knocked left during right-side rafters (second clip, first clip is normal right-side for reference). Requires 6 soul entering the room. Variation of sawayoshi's low fps strat with the dash/drift directions adjusted slightly to avoid killing the vengefly during the setup. Loses 1.4s which isn't great, but it's better than resorting to left-side.

Some WCS strats for the elevator below WK arena on the way to rafters.

  • First clip is the baseline strat without WCS
  • Second clip is WCS with a failed chain, which saves 0.0s-0.1s
  • Third clip is WCS with a successful chain, which saves 0.3s-0.4s
  • Fourth clip is WCS with no attempted chain, but instead a prejump dash, which saves 0.2s-0.3s. This strat was found by Stratus but doesn't appear to have been posted
The variance in each of the WCS strats comes down to how well you greed the prejump + first dash for the elevator WCS.

TLDR; you should do elevator WCS here regardless, even if you miss the chain it's even/saves time. Whether it's better to go for the chain or the prejump is up to how often you hit the chain, but IMO the prejump dash strat is the best on average due to the inconsistency of chains in general.

sawayoshi

A backup strat for right side rafters, using a variant of the low fps strat. Mainly useful for 1.4+, where vengefly RNG can lead to "impossible patterns" that can't be made normally. Requires at least 6 hits of soul into the room and at least 4 health.

A faster way to kill these enemies, Overall it saves 0.3-0.5 to killing them on the way back, and 0.1-0.2 to not killing them (Cause you don't have to awkwardly jump over them). Make sure you have enough soul to do this, as it makes soul routing a little bit harder, your pogo on the lever can hit them but its kinda rng, and the other nail hit can hit both of them (Which is also rng) It prolly needs to be labbed a bit more for wcs

A Low-fps version thats the fastest, it can be pretty tight at times but its very consistent; I get it like 50-70% of the time on 90 fps. Sorry for framerate at the beginning. Its much more consistent than high fps.

Sometimes the vf can hit you the wrong direction for the second damage-tank, so be weary of that. For the first pogo, make sure to be holding left the entire time, for the fireballs: Remember to delay them after the pogo, but don't delay them inbetween each other. For the second pogo, either do a neutral pogo, or go towards the vf to pogo.

Not really the most practical elevator squeeze, but looks neat none the less, most the time if you fail you go immediately into spikes so wouldn't reccomend.

A way to go on the upper ledge right after the elevator by pogoing the flying guard. Works kinda consistently, but you have to be aware of when it doesn't work to fall back to the normal strat. You can kinda guess how it'll go after landing on first post-elevator ledge based on whether the flying guard is visible or not

This strat's already known but I couldn't find it anywhere, and having input displays nice. Chain Elevator WCS to avoid having to pogo enemies or go around. The first chain dash needs to be low to hit the platform, if you miss you can still jump out of it and be fine. Downsides are not hitting the elevator back up or getting the heal. If the sentries are uncooperative you can't chain all the way up but you won't be hit. (the first chains pretty easy, the other two are a lot harder)

Edit: In this example I appear to get airwalk but its not needed for the trick
