a wallbreak in verdania, im calling it a lever skip for fun and whimsy
there is a giant orange box that stops the wall from being broken so just setup up something to break it and stand next to the left transition outside the orange box
in this clip a pin is thrown to make a way to get up quicker and using a volt stake to break and give time to leave the orange box
This is a skip for low% to get to lace lever without anything and no deaths in the process I decided to show three different ways of doing this with the last two clips being slight timing difference between a method
for the first method, the coyote jump, you need to jump roughly on the first frame of the coyote jump then start a heal right before the peak of the jump, then pogo roughly 0.3s after the heal explosion starts
for the second method you will want to jump into a mantle and let go of jump before grabbing mantle hold jump and right after grabbing ledge and start heal right before peak of jump, then pogo roughly 0.3s after the heal explosion starts
for the last method get a corner correct, walk off the ledge for a frame by pressing menu after moving a tiny bit, then buffer left with menu hold jump and right after grabbing ledge and start heal right before peak of jump, then pogo roughly 0.3s after the heal explosion starts
if i missed anything or didn't explain something well ask in a thread and ill try to explain how I think it works
There are three main parts of this skip: initial mantle, heal timing, pogo timing I don't know for certain how everything works but i was able to find and perform the skip so it should help Even with hitting all three parts it might still have a chance to miss because Silksong moment I believe higher fps helps the skip though i have tested extensively with low fps
for the mantle, you need to make sure that you instantly grab it the reason is because after healing it will cause you to accelerate slower from what I can tell if you are falling for more than probably a frame before starting mantle you will accelerate faster after the heal my method for getting the mantle is starting at corner correct, walking off the ledge and using menu if it looks like hornet is in the falling animation and is only off the ground for a frame then you can buffer left in menu to instantly grab the ledge then just hold right and jump and you got the first part down
for the heal input i found that starting heal when the vertical velocity is 1.80 or 0.60 is what works the best the visual alignment seems to be a little bit after hornet starts facing up right during the mantle flip you will know if you got it or got close to it if hornets horns are in the middle part of the lowest part of the ceiling
for the pogo part you will need to pogo when vertical velocity is 1.33 or 1.93 which seems to be around 0.25s after heal explosion starts if testing in debug and you are looking at velocity and notice it goes 0.25, 1.40, 2.65 that means you didn't get the mantle correct or healed too late then keep holding right, down, and jump and hopefully you get the mantle
if i missed anything or didn't explain something well ask in a thread and ill try to explain how I think it works also if someone wants to come up with a cool name for this that would be nice (maybe even include my name in it, it took 13 hrs in 2 days)
consistent method to skip having to wait. requires 4 silk and 3 health. for some odd reason it only works if you buffer a pogo after the spear. first half of the clip is me doing it incorrectly on purpose. second half is done correctly (refer to input overlay)
Using dash to stall in the air lets you climb this much more consistently. It's retryable, damageless, no silk needed, and faster. The only thing you have to watch out for is the pogo at the end, if you're too high for the pogo you can dunk (shown in 2nd clip)
