#bell route 23

I've been labbing out the BS2 skip for while, and after chugging a 12oz beer I've managed to get it 100% consistent. I think this should be good for ensuring consistent pace

A very silly pogo that's reactable and saves 0.3-0.4 lmao. The flyer's height is random, so it's not always possible but depending on the rng it can be super easy and free. When his feet are inside the lights, it's free. If he's slightly above (feet touching the lights) it's do able but tight. If he's any higher at all and not touching the lights don't go for it.

you can hit last judge when she does her spinning attack in first phase. probably useful if you dont have silk for silk spear when she does it.

you can do this version of the skip if you are short on silk or you realize that the flower is very low since this should be faster anyways cause you avoid the freeze frames that happens when your heal gets canceled

bs2 is easier if you move forward a little

this is probably known, but i figured it'd be good to put here. this is how far you can stand from the bell door to needolin it

Fastest movement in this room with the wj

Janky walljumps got you down? Ask yourself: what can Brew do for You? (ignore the little flub at the end, trick is still precise this just makes it easier)

shoutout Quissy for figuring out this setup, I added two mantles to help with consistency but this seems to work every time for me to set up the enemy pogo. flea brew isn't strictly necessary if you get the right height but it does help, and I think the movement I do at the end of the room is only possible with the brew active.
key point: when you attack the conchfly for the setup, you have to make sure you're a bit below it or else it moves downward to attack, ruining the setup

discord search has been wonky for me so someone may have already posted a setup for this enemy pogo to get thru coral_12 quickly, but this is what I've been doing. the enemy position can be a little inconsistent, but you can play this a lot like the beastfly pogo and use some jumps/patience to make sure it's in the right spot. in particular, the jump-dash back on the platform you're baiting the enemy towards is important, and it's more consistent if you do just a little more than a short hop

note that if bind dash refresh gets voted legal you can just do the coral_03 skip that ppl did in judgement runs instead of having to do this room at all

I re-worked Scotty's version of this skip to avoid having to do the precise jump off the platform. I haven't played around with it a ton yet, but I think it has potential. Here's the steps I follow to do this:

  • When jumping to the platform below the flying enemy, float underneath its aggro range to avoid waking it up.
  • Dash into the wall and walljump, holding right until you're just past the background flag.
  • Dash left and immediately hold right so that you begin a sprint turnaround the moment you land. You want to be fairly far right on the platform so you're close enough to cause the flying enemy to away, to the right.
  • Sprint jump a moment after landing, aiming to jump over the flying enemy.
  • If you clear the flying enemy, turn around and pogo it. You should pogo the top of its hitbox, not the side. If you jump into the enemy and get hit, you can still pogo it and make it to the right side. You can also make this step easier by hitting cloak just a moment before doing the pogo to help yourself line it up, but I'm not sure how consistent that is.
  • You can use the chain as a visual cue for timing your dash -> cloak repress in the air. I like to dash and repress cloak just before it.

yet "another" way of doing 2nd skip, so apparently you dont need to cloak twice, i'm having a lot of trouble with this skip and out of the methods this one is the most consistent for me, maybe it helps someone else too. But i just use the ledge grab setup and buffer jump, cloak past the chains, dash when you clear the cage and be ready to walljump as soon as you touch the wall, right is held all the time

I see a lot of people, including top players, still doing some iffy stuff here, so I threw together this vid of how I personally approach this fight, with a few attempts (both failed and not), hope it helps some people to have visual and auditory references. Not perfect, definitely some wording mistakes, but yeah https://youtu.be/XvW9V-cfc2s

I am very confident that this can be done consistently with this 2 setup which allows for handling each of 2 very different scenarios. The crow can either attack so far to the right that it will pass the second crow or it can attack from far left and wont reach there.

It goes as follows: you always stay just to the left side of the grass on(1st picture).

1st scenario: craw will slowly go towards you, and then it will dive, for this one you move very close to the triggering hitbox of the second craw(2nd picture) and as soon as the first craw dives you do two fast jump-dash inputs and pogo the craws from right to left, dash at the end for getting the mantle easily.

2and scenario: craw will dive instantly, here you will just full jump over the craw and tap right once or twice to get to the middle of the first grass(3rd picture) , then you will do 2 slashes to time your dash, you then proceed to pogo both craws again from right to left, pogoing the second craw looks weird but idk it just works.

This is the most consistent setup i've found for both cases giving me a 90+% success rate despite my fumbling, I'm missing timing info cause idk how to time stuffs, but surely a consistent not too slow setup is more than enough. Shootouts to @ScrewmyShoe and @vlackSR https://discord.com/channels/772964112908156938/1365521515356885032/1421252562014965870 for the video references and explanations of the skip.

Finally leaving with a video showing off the strats by getting the skips several times in a row.

Healing right after dashing makes you float a lil. Makes this jump waay easier

JackmanMarcus ๐Ÿ’™

This conchfly pogo saves ~0.4s compared to going up the right side based on my timings (more if you're going for the mantle setup for the next skip). You go right until you touch the chain in the background to activate the conchfly, then dash back left so it gets baited over a little (Otherwise it's too far right and down).

With heal, you can do this consistently
credit goes to nebula btw for finding it originally

Melody2

fastest movement in this room for bells route, i did w/o the lace encounter to save time but the movement at the start works with the extra enemies too
the jump at 0:06 saves about 0.5 to the other route to the room and its fairly easy w/ the updash, overall the room is easier this way imo
at 0:07 you could figure out some magic to get through the glass faster, i tested updashing on the lower platform then upslashing and dashing but its seems to be .1 slower. prolly smth like updash->upslash->dash once you cling to the wall under the glass is optimal
again this all might be known i just couldnt find anything searching for song_05

Stratus (he/him)

Hitting the cage down then walljumping off of it saves about 0.7 to going around

alternative probably faster caw pogo ignoring the right caw entirely

I am very confident that this can be done consistently with this setup which allows for handling 2 very different scenarios. The crow can either attack so far to the right that it will pass the second crow or it can attack from far left and wont reach there. The second version - an "early attack" by the left crow - can be a lot harder to handle and will lose a couple of seconds so it might be worth investigating how one could properly manip for a far right attack. though i was not able to do so

Regardless, this is the most consistent setup i've found for both cases giving me a 85-95% success rate despite my fumbling. An alternative might attempt to get to the right side of the right side crow before pogoing it in order to push it into the middle.

Sorry for the terrible audio desync no idea what obs is up to.

Absolute banger of a room, this skip saves like 12-13 seconds over going to the right side. You can use an enemy to pogo but this is much faster and less rng, but very difficult
